Tansel Halic

Tansel Halic is a Senior Software Engineer at Intuitive since January 2022, previously serving as an Associate Professor (Tenured) at the University of Central Arkansas from August 2012 to February 2022, where Tansel secured over $4 million in research grants as Principal Investigator and contributed to a total of $9.3 million in submitted grants. Earlier experience includes positions as an Assistant Professor and Software Engineer at Akiman Information and Communication Systems and AydinOrme Textile Company, respectively. Tansel Halic holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and multiple degrees in Computer Science from Marmara University and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
