Melwyn Pereira

Melwyn Pereira's work experience consists of various roles in different companies. Starting in 2012, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at IGATE until 2014. In 2014, they joined Bird's Eye Technologies as a Software Developer for a brief period.

In 2015, Melwyn joined The University of Auckland, where they held two roles, Research Assistant and Tutor for Operating Systems. In 2016, they moved on to Fiserv Auckland, initially working as an Intermediate Software Developer and later promoted to Senior Software Engineer. At Fiserv Auckland, Melwyn developed and maintained projects using technologies such as .NET Core, .NET Framework, Web API, WCF, MVC, and Web Forms.

Most recently, in 2021, Melwyn joined Invenco as a Software Development Team Lead. In this position, they lead a team of eight developers working on the Invenco Cloud Services product. They utilize various architecture patterns such as monolith, modular monolith, microservices, and micro-frontend. Additionally, they work with technologies like Node.js, Java, .NET, React, AngularJS, and AWS managed services.

Melwyn Pereira holds a Master's Degree in Software Engineering from The University of Auckland, which they obtained in 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in B.E. Computer Engineering from MCT's Rajiv Gandhi Institute Of Technology between 2007 and 2011. Melwyn also holds a Higher Secondary School Certificate in Computer Science from E.S.A. College of Science, which they acquired between 2005 and 2007. Melwyn completed their secondary education and received a Secondary School Certificate from St. Francis de Sales between 1995 and 2005. Additionally, Melwyn obtained a Level-1 Java certification from IGATE in June 2012.
