Ferial Patel

Ferial Patel has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Ferial started their career at Mthembu and Mahomed Attorney as an Executive Assistant and remained with the company for a significant period of time. Ferial then moved on to South 2 South (Pty) Ltd and held the role of Executive Assistant there as well. Patel later joined Global Trader as an Operations Manager before transitioning to First World Trade (GT247.com). At GT247.com, they took on various roles such as Client Services, Client Relations Junior, and eventually became the Head of Operations. After leaving GT247.com, Patel joined Investec, where they held several positions including Shared Services Payments and Authorizations Lead, ECM Business Owner, Lead: Business Improvement and Client Experience, Product Owner Channel Integration & Client Engagement SA, and most recently, they served as the Head Digital Strategy & Product Owner. Patel has a wealth of experience in operations, client services, and business improvement roles throughout their career.

Ferial Patel's education history includes completing a Lean Six Sigma - Yellow Belt program at Juran South Africa in 2018. In the same year, they also obtained a Lean Six Sigma - Green Belt certification from Juran Institute. In 2017, they completed the RE5 course at Moonstone. In 2015, Patel underwent an Agile Course at Investec, and in 2014, they completed a Payments Course at PASA. In 2003, they participated in the Commercial Advancement Training Scheme at CATS. Patel attended Sacred Heart College from 1996 to 2000. In 2021, they pursued Advanced Project Management at the University of Cape Town. Lastly, they completed a Certificate in Women in Leadership from GetSmarter in 2023.
