Ndumiso K. Jali

Ndumiso K. Jali has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Tutor at the University of Cape Town until November 2012. In December 2012, they interned at AIESEC India for a short period. Ndumiso K. then joined Phembelela Capital as a Director from November 2016 to January 2018. From February 2013 to August 2014, Ndumiso participated in an 18-month Corporate & Investment Banking Information Technology Graduate program at Standard Bank Group, rotating through different areas and receiving training. Ndumiso K. continued their journey with Standard Bank Group as a Murex Business Support & Development Analyst from September 2014 to October 2015 and as a Murex Developer/Analyst from November 2015 to May 2018. Since June 2018, Ndumiso has been working at Investec, starting as a System Analyst responsible for overseeing the stability of Trading & Risk Management Systems across all product classes. In July 2021, they were promoted to Information Technology Team Lead, where they drive technical delivery in change projects and provides technical solutions to various departments. Ndumiso's technical expertise includes working with Vendor Trading & Risk Systems such as Fenics, Wallstreet, and Front Arena, with customizations using Python and SQL.

Ndumiso K. Jali completed their education at the University of Bath from 2020 to 2023, where they earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Applied Economics with Banking and Financial Markets. Prior to that, they attended the University of Cape Town from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Science in Management Studies with a focus on Economics and Information Systems. Before entering university, Ndumiso studied at New Forest High School and obtained a National Senior Certificate.
