Keya Veney is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in finance and operations.Having worked across multiple mid-sized companies, including 2 emerging Unicorn startups, Keya has a proven track record of helping organizations scale by focusing on process optimization, financial management, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

As a leader in the marketplace, Keya earned a Master’s Degree in Finance from Keller University in 2012. In 2013, Keya earned her Six Sigma Green Belt as well as earned Administrator Certification for Salesforce.com, the world’s largest CRM company. Mastery within her field has allowed Keya to thrive at leading and building out the operations functions and driving strong internal growth in a variety of industries. She is adept at helping businesses scale! Keya was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in 2024 for her contributions in the marketplace and community.

As an entrepreneur in real estate investing, Keya specializes in buying and selling mortgage notes, private money lending, and land flipping. Currently, Keya is building a portfolio of long-term and mid-term rental properties. She has partnered with other real estate investors to provide training and mentorship to new investors.

Keya is also a partner in a new startup company called Commemorative Sports Towel (CST). CST sells sports-shaped towels for people to celebrate meaningful moments in their lives or simply have a one-of- a-kind wash towel. Keya has operational and financial oversight to drive growth within the company.

Keya is a dedicated leader in her family and community. She thrives on fostering connections and creating memorable experiences. Since 2015, she has served as Chief Administrator for the Cheetah Athletic Association, a non-profit youth organization dedicated to enriching the lives of young people through participation in athletics. Her passion is to bring people together where laughter and fun and friendly competition creates bonds that are unbreakable!

With a heart committed to collaboration, service and organizing engaging events, Keya believes a sense of community can make a meaningful difference in people’s lives! She lives with her husband of 25 years in Seattle and has three children.
