Matt Swan

Matt Swan, CFA has an extensive work experience in the finance industry. Matt is currently Senior Director, Performance Measurement and Analytics at the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO), a position they have held since November 2022. Prior to this, they served as Director, Performance Measurement and Analytics at IMCO from April 2019 to October 2022. Matt also has experience at State Street, where they held various roles including Managing Director, Vice President, Assistant Vice President, Officer, Senior Analyst, and Analyst in the Performance and Analytics department. Matt started their career as an Investment Accountant at State Street and eventually became a Senior Investment Accountant. In addition, Matt has been involved with CFA Societies Canada as a Member and 2nd Vice Chair of the Canadian Investment Performance Council (CIPC) since November 2020 and July 2022 respectively. The CIPC aims to provide thought leadership on investment performance best practices and promote adoption of the GIPS® standards for fairness and transparency in the Canadian market.

Matt Swan, CFA earned a B.Comm degree in Finance from McMaster University, graduating in 1994.
