Robert Raines has an extensive work experience that spans over several industries and roles. Robert started their career in 2002 as a Copy Editor at Bristol Herald Courier, where they were responsible for designing and laying out daily news pages. Robert also participated in daily news meetings and played a role in story selection and headline writing. In 2005, they transitioned to the role of Features Writer at the same company, where they wrote human interest and pre-event stories and helped integrate new youth-oriented content into the newspaper and website.

In 2006, Raines joined SNL Financial as a News Writer, where they wrote stories for real-time publishing and daily newsletters covering the financial industry. Robert vetted incoming press releases and other company documents for news value. Robert later became a Reporter at the same company, continuing their work in writing stories from various sources.

In 2009, Raines worked for Comcast Cable as an Accounts Receivable Rep, providing back-office support to payment centers in Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland. Robert also took on the role of Temp/HR Admin, assisting with administrative tasks and special projects, such as managing a flu shot program for over 500 employees in three states.

Raines then joined Adams & Garth Staffing/Comcast in 2009 as a Temp Admin Assistant in the Human Resources department. Robert supported day-to-day operations and contributed to special projects.

In 2011, Raines joined InvestorsObserver as an Analyst, where they gained experience in the financial sector. Robert later took on more senior roles within the company, including Managing Editor at MarketIntelligenceCenter.com, where they led content creation, publishing, and website redesign efforts. Robert also collaborated with internal and external partners to create specialized content for advertising units. Raines then became the Editorial Director at InvestorsObserver, overseeing all aspects of daily publishing and content creation. Robert led efforts to improve content creation and streamline processes, as well as maintained relationships with various research and financial institutions.

Throughout their career, Raines has demonstrated a strong ability to lead teams, improve processes, and deliver successful products.

Robert Raines attended Emory & Henry College from 1998 to 2002. Robert obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications/History.
