Akshay Verma

Akshay Verma has a diverse work experience. Akshay began their professional career in 2015 as the Head of Finance & Sponsorship for Cognizance, IIT Roorkee. In 2017, they worked as a Summer Trainee for both UltraTech Cement and Steel Authority of India Limited. During their time with Steel Authority of India Limited, they worked with a team of 5 members to reduce the free acidity content of Ammonium Sulphate fertiliser produced in the by-product plant of coke oven. Akshay also executed sampling and testing of acidity & moisture content of final ammonium sulphate fertiliser in Bhilai plant of SAIL and propounded methods to reduce and maintain the acidity of Ammonium Sulphate as low as 0. In 2018, they held internships with Coromandel International Limited and Supari Studios. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Roposo and a Software Developer at InVideo.

Akshay Verma attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering.
