Aftan Miller

Aftan Miller has a diverse background in the biotech industry. They most recently worked at Invitae as the Accessioning Operations Lead, starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Operations Manager at Meissa Vaccines from November 2020 to August 2022. Aftan also has experience as a Scientific Researcher at Genentech from November 2017 to November 2020. They briefly worked as a Senior Clinical Research Associate II at Gilead Sciences in 2017. Aftan's early career included a role as a Biosample Operations Laboratory Associate at Genentech from May 2015 to May 2017, where they were responsible for various tasks related to sample management and data tracking.

Aftan Miller obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Tuskegee University. This educational achievement was completed between 2001 and 2005.
