Jerzy MacIoszek

Jerzy Macioszek has a vast and extensive work experience in the biotechnology and medical diagnostics industry. Jerzy currently holds the position of Vice President of Molecular Diagnostics at Invitae since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Independent Consultant from January 2020 to April 2021.

Jerzy has also held various leadership roles at renowned companies including Sysmex Inostics, where they served as Vice President IVD Product Development and Production from April 2017 to August 2019, and as Vice President Product Development from November 2014 to April 2017. Jerzy was Head of Consumable Development at GenMark Diagnostics from September 2012 to July 2014, and Director of Instrument Development at Roka Bioscience from March 2011 to September 2012.

Jerzy's experience also includes a role as Senior Director of Product Development at Qiagen from November 2007 to November 2010, and as Associate Director of Product Development at Gen Probe from January 1998 to November 2007. Jerzy started their career at Abbott Laboratories in April 1988, where they held the position of Project Manager/Technical Lead until January 1998.

Jerzy Macioszek completed a Master of Science (M.S.) in Biological Sciences at the University of Illinois Chicago from 1985 to 1988. Jerzy also holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Chemical Engineering from Warsaw Polytechnic.
