Heather Hamel

Ms. Hamel serves as InVivo’s Director of Legal Affairs and Business Development, and InVivo’s Corporate Secretary. At InVivo, she leads the company’s legal, intellectual property, and business development functions, in addition to managing investor relations activities. Ms. Hamel joined InVivo in 2014 and has advanced through positions of increasing responsibility in the legal and intellectual property, investor relations, and business development departments. Prior to joining InVivo, Ms. Hamel worked at Schwegman Lundberg & Woessner, P.A., and at Ecolab, Inc., where she worked on a variety of legal and intellectual property matters, including patent prosecution, intellectual property litigation, and patent and trademark licensing activities. Prior to Ecolab, Ms. Hamel worked as a biomaterials research associate at the University of Wisconsin. Ms. Hamel holds a B.S. in chemistry and a B.S. in biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin, a J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law, and a Master of Liberal Arts Degree in General Management from Harvard University.
