Darion Whitten

Darion Whitten has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of recruiting and diversity. Their most recent role, starting in 2022, is as the Head of Recruiting and Diversity at Invoca. Prior to this, they worked as a Career Coach at Interview Kickstart from 2020 to 2023. They also held various roles at Olive from 2020 to 2022, including the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Program Manager and Diversity Recruiting Strategy Lead, and Principal Technical Recruiter and DEI&B Lead.

Before joining Olive, Darion worked at Cruise as a Senior Technical Recruiter from 2019 to 2020, where they focused on hiring for IT and infrastructure engineering roles. They also served as a member of the diversity team.

In 2018 and 2019, Darion worked at Facebook as a Technical Sourcing Recruiter for Android developers, with a focus on diversity initiatives.

From 2017 to 2018, they worked at Amazon as a Sr. Technical Recruiter, focusing on hiring senior level developers and leading diversity hiring efforts.

Prior to Amazon, they worked at Visa as a Sr. Technical Recruiting Lead from 2014 to 2017. In this role, they led recruiting efforts for Visa's Corporate IT organization and implemented strategies to improve diversity and hiring processes.

In 2013 and 2014, Darion worked at Google as a Staffing Services Specialist, screening applicants for technology-based roles and contributing to team-building activities.

They also have experience working at Towers Watson as a Corporate Recruiter and Recruiting Lead, and at Aerotek as a Life Sciences Recruiter, where they specialized in placing candidates in the healthcare and science industries.

Throughout their career, Darion has consistently exceeded hiring goals, implemented diversity initiatives, and developed strategies to improve candidate experience and hiring processes.

Darion Whitten attended The University of Texas at Arlington from 2006 to 2010 and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in History, with a Minor in Business.
