Sjoerd Madou

Sjoerd Madou is a seasoned professional in the fields of directing, editing, and animation, currently serving as a Regisseur at iO since April 2023. Prior to this role, Sjoerd held the position of Director at LVB from September 2015 to April 2023, and worked as an Editor/Compositor at Lukkien for several months in 2015. Sjoerd's extensive experience also includes a long tenure at Filmfactory from August 2007 to August 2015, where skills in directing, editing, and animation were honed, alongside the development of 3D animation for television and commercials targeting various international markets. Additional key roles include directing, editing, and animating for a show at TED that aired on MTV from June 2009 to August 2014, and working as an editor, animator, and camera operator at CCCP from January 2006 to January 2007. Early in Sjoerd’s career, positions as a graphic artist at Polka Design and academic qualifications from HKU in Playwriting and Screenwriting further established a strong foundation in the creative industry.
