Shimon Potter

Shimon Potter is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Portfolio Manager at ION Asset Management since June 2018. Prior to this role, Shimon held positions as Head of Global Equities at Clal Insurance and Migdal Group from May 2016 to May 2018 and August 2011 to May 2016, respectively. Shimon's earlier experience includes working as a Proprietary Equity Trader at Migdal Group and as a Research Analyst at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. from February 2007 to July 2011. Shimon began a career in finance as a Financial Analyst at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems from May 2005 to January 2007. Shimon holds a Master of Business Administration in Financial Management from Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Accounting from the University of Haifa.
