Rusdiansyah Harahap has a diverse work experience in the field of embedded software and firmware engineering. Starting in 2017, they worked as a Scada Engineer Intern at PT. PLN (Persero) UPB Sumbagut, where they coordinated with staff to monitor and maintain control equipment using SCADA. Rusdiansyah also designed a new RTU system using Arduino Uno for system communications monitoring.
In 2018, Rusdiansyah worked as a freelance teacher at SMK Negeri 1 Balige.
In 2019, they joined PT. SoftOrb Technology Indonesia as a Software Developer, where they developed firmware for payment devices used in TransJakarta and Damri payment systems. Additionally, they developed firmware for an ID Card (E-KTP) Reader using DE911.
From 2019 to 2021, Rusdiansyah worked as a Firmware Engineer at Miota. In this role, they developed firmware for various projects related to collecting sensor data and communication data on the LoRaWan protocol. Rusdiansyah also developed supporting tools for embedded systems development and testing, and implemented protocols such as Modbus RTU, RS485, UART, SPI, and BLE.
In 2021, Rusdiansyah joined Pitik as a Backend Engineer, where they worked until 2023. Rusdiansyah then transitioned to the role of Firmware Engineer at Pitik, where they developed firmware for climate control systems in chicken coops using FreeRTOS, STM32, and ESP32. Rusdiansyah also designed a system and developed firmware for a smart scale in chicken coops using ESP32.
In 2022, Rusdiansyah briefly worked as an IoT Mentor at MySkill. Finally, in 2023, they joined ION Mobility as an Embedded Software Engineer.
Rusdiansyah Harahap completed their high school education at SMA Negeri 1 Kisaran from 2011 to 2014. Rusdiansyah pursued a field of study in Science during this time. Following their high school graduation, Rusdiansyah attended Institut Teknologi Del from 2014 to 2019. Rusdiansyah earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering during their time at the institute.
