Maryellen Callaghan

Maryellen Callaghan is the Vice President for Strategic Initiatives and Board Secretary at Iona College. Maryellen has been with the college for 20 years, and in their current role, they are responsible for leading and facilitating progress on core strategic initiatives and campus-wide projects. Prior to their current role, they served as the Manager for Benefits and Employment, Director for Human Resources, Senior Policy Advisor and Chief of Staff, and Chief of Staff and Board Secretary. Ms. Callaghan earned their baccalaureate degree from Pace University and their Master of Business Administration from Iona College. Maryellen is certified by the HR Certification Institute as a Senior Professional in Human Resources.
