Kedar Chitnis

Kedar Chitnis has a diverse and extensive work history in the technology industry. Kedar is currently working as the Director / Principal Engineer Embedded SW at Iontra Inc starting in May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Google as a Staff Software Engineer from October 2021 to May 2023.

Before joining Google, Kedar Chitnis had a long tenure at Texas Instruments. Kedar held various roles including Principal Software Architect for Sitara high-performance MCUs, where they led the creation of the MCU+ SDK targeted for TI Sitara MCUs. Kedar also served as the Principal Software Architect for ADAS, in which they designed and implemented system software and applications for ADAS systems. Additionally, they served as the Senior Software Architect for Video Security Imaging, where they led the design and implementation of system software for video security cameras and surveillance products. Furthermore, Kedar Chitnis worked as a Software Architect for Digital Imaging, leading the effort to bring out multiple digital still cameras on TI platforms. Kedar started their career at Texas Instruments as a Software Engineer, working on various imaging and multimedia products.

Kedar Chitnis completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Engineering from VESIT (University of Mumbai) in the years 1997 to 2001. Later, they pursued their Master of Technology (MTech) specializing in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, from 2016 to 2018.
