Kim N.

Microarchitecture/RTL Design Engineer at Iontra

Kim N. has a wealth of work experience, beginning with their role as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Georgia Tech Regional Engineering Program in 1999. Kim then moved on to become an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology in 2000. In 2002, they became an Assistant Professor at the University of Denver, where they developed a program in Computer Engineering and served on the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department committee. In 2012, Kim N. was an ORISE Fellow at the FDA and NSF Scholar in Residence, where they supervised a team in the evaluation of communication links for limited mobility patients. From 2014 to 2021, Kim N. was a Senior Design Engineer at Video Accessory Corporation, where they designed embedded solutions for Video Scaling using the Altera VIP suite. Kim then worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at TapHere! Technology from 2021 to 2022. Finally, Kim N. is currently a Microarchitecture/RTL Design Engineer at Iontra Inc. and a Design Engineer at Insight Photonic Solutions.

Kim N. attended Herschel V. Jenkins High School before pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology from 1988 to 1999.
