Wayne Henderson

Wayne Henderson has a long and varied work experience. Starting in 1985 as an Operations Research Analyst at Cadbury Schweppes, Henderson then moved to Smorgon Glass Containers as a Production Planner in 1987 and then to Email Westinghouse as a Materials Manager in 1988. In 1990, Henderson joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Principal, where they contributed IP to the inaugural edition of the Journal of Strategy and Business and initiated the Australian alumni program. In 1998, Henderson founded and led Arpos Pty Ltd, a boutique strategy consulting business, and led rapid early years growth and recruited to build the business and partnership. In 2007, Henderson became the Strategy Director at Infinis, the largest generator of renewable energy in the UK, where they led the development of the business strategy for extending the portfolio of renewable technologies. In 2016, Henderson moved to Cubane Consulting as the Managing Director ANZ, where they served over 40 universities, spanning research intensive through teaching intensive institutions, in Australasia, the UK and North America. Finally, in 2019, Henderson became the Chief Operating Officer at Iothic Ltd., where they are bringing a revolution in security and interoperability for the intelligent IoT world.

Wayne Henderson has a comprehensive educational background. Wayne obtained their BA Hons in Physics and Philosophy from the University of Oxford between 1981 and 1984. Following this, they completed an MSc in Operational Research at Lancaster University between 1984 and 1985. Wayne then attended Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM) between 1989 and 1992, where they obtained their MBA. Prior to this, they attended Charterhouse.
