John Joe Cassidy

John Joe Cassidy has a long and varied work experience. John Joe began their career in 2008 as an Assistant Youth Support Worker at Fairhill Youth Centre. In 2010, they worked as an Intern Software Engineer at NYSE Technologies. In 2012, they worked as a Software Engineer at Latens Systems, where they developed Java SDKs for the Android operating system, Objective-C SDKs for Apple’s iOS operating system and server-side development on Linux and Windows using the C, C++ and C# programming languages. In 2014, they worked as a Software Engineer at Rapid7, where they were responsible for architecting, coding, documenting, delivering and supporting customer driven solutions. In 2016, they worked as a Technical Architect at Cloudsmith, where their primary duties included research and development of new technologies, proof of concepts, design, development and technical leadership of the product and platform. From 2018 to 2022, they worked as an Engineering Manager at iManage, where they joined as a Senior Software Engineer for the iManage Threat Manager product and transitioned to Team Lead and then to Engineering Manager. Currently, they are working as an Engineering Manager at IOTICS.

John Joe Cassidy attended Queen's University Belfast from 2008 to 2012 and earned a degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering.
