Celia Escarti Cervera

Head of Software Engineering at IoTsens

Celia Escarti Cervera has extensive work experience in software engineering and project management. Celia currently works as the Head of Software Engineering at IoTsens since May 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Software Engineering Manager at Blue Trail Software from July 2021 to January 2023. At Blue Trail Software, they were responsible for implementing best practices, driving projects aligned with long-term objectives, and creating a positive engineering culture. Celia also worked as a Software Engineering Manager at Document Genome from June 2021 to January 2023, where they led a team in developing an AI-powered document intelligence platform. Before that, they served as an AMS Project Manager at Infoport from January 2020 to June 2021, overseeing planning, task prioritization, and client communication. From April 2014 to January 2020, Celia worked as a Project Manager at Sopra Steria, managing offshore teams, handling risk and budget management, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Celia began their career as a Software Developer at Hits Telecom Spain, S.A. from February 2010 to March 2014, where they successfully migrated a client's platform and implemented new portlets. Celia also worked as a Software Developer at PROS Research Center from September 2008 to September 2009, focusing on implementing services in intelligent environments. Before entering the software field, Celia worked as a Comercial at Condé Nast from June 2007 to October 2008.

Celia Escarti Cervera's education history includes a Master's Degree in Software Engineering, Formal Methods, and Information Systems from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), which they obtained from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Ingeniero Superior degree in Informática at the same university from 1998 to 2008.
