Kevin Condon

Director Of Government Relations at IAEC

Kevin Condon has a significant amount of experience in government relations and public affairs. Kevin worked as the Director of Government Relations for the Iowa Association of Electric Cooperatives starting in September 2016. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Public Affairs for the Iowa Communications Alliance from August 2014 to September 2016. From December 2011 to July 2014, they worked as the Director of Government Relations for the Iowa Association of Business and Industry.

Kevin also has experience working in various roles for the United States Senate, including Business & Economic Development Liaison from December 2008 to December 2011, Research Director from January 2007 to November 2008, and Deputy Scheduler & Assistant to the Chief of Staff from December 2005 to December 2006. Before that, they worked as a Government Relations Representative for the National Farmers Union from March 2005 to December 2005.

Additionally, Kevin has experience working in campaign coordination, serving as a District Campaign Coordinator for U.S. Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle from March 2004 to November 2004, and for U.S. Senator John Edwards from September 2003 to March 2004.

Kevin Condon completed their Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Iowa from 1999 to 2003, majoring in Political Science and English. Kevin went on to pursue their Master of Public Administration degree at Iowa State University from 2009 to 2011.
