Adam Shell

Adam Shell possesses extensive experience in transportation planning and GIS management, currently serving as the GIS Program Manager for the Iowa Department of Transportation. Shell's career at Iowa DOT has included roles such as Automated Transportation Program Manager and Travel Modeling & Highway Analysis Coordinator, where responsibilities encompassed leading initiatives in automated vehicles and conducting technical data analysis. As a Transportation Planner 1, Shell provided guidance on travel demand modeling and GIS applications to support long-range transportation planning. Additionally, Shell has contributed to academia as an adjunct lecturer at both Iowa State University and the University of Iowa, teaching courses on urban transportation planning models and transportation demand analysis.
