Adam Haroon

Adam Haroon is an accomplished undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computational and Applied Mathematics at Iowa State University, with extensive experience in research, robotics, and renewable energy projects. Currently serving as an intern at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory, Adam focuses on multi-agent reinforcement learning and has been involved in various research roles, including developing navigation policies and conducting comprehensive analyses of air quality datasets. Recognized as a Boeing Research Fellow, Adam actively mentors underclassmen and has co-founded organizations aimed at supporting students in academic pursuits. Previous internships include work at the U.S. Army DEVCOM Soldier Center and MidAmerican Energy Company, where contributions included 3D modeling for personal protective equipment evaluation and evaluating renewable energy technologies. Adam has demonstrated leadership skills through various roles, including co-founding Advanced Pandas, Inc. and Math Simplified, and has published multiple research papers presented at leading conferences.
