Simon Billett

Simon Billett has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Simon has held positions such as Group Director of Operational Excellence at IPACKCHEM GROUP, where they currently work. Previously, they worked at Greif, Inc. as the Operational Excellence for Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Simon has also worked at JDE Coffee UK Manufacturing as the Continuous Improvement Manager and Global Organizational Pillar Lead. Prior to that, they were the Integrated Lean Six Sigma Manager at Mondelēz International, UK & Ireland Chocolate Manufacturing. Simon has also worked at WRIGLEY UK as the Supply Chain Logistics Manager and Lean TPM Coach. Simon has experience in implementing lean and TPM methodologies and has worked as a Director of Pinnacle Consultancy, providing training and consultancy services for lean and TPM implementation. Simon also has experience as a Senior TPM/Lean Consultant at WCS International and held various positions at Milliken & Company, including Advanced Production Manager, Process Improvement Manager, Production Engineer, and Shift Technician & Team Leader.

Simon Billett obtained a PgD in Manufacturing Systems and Design from The Open University in the years 1996 to 1998. Simon also received a Pgd in Manufacturing Management from Coventry University during the same time period. In 1992 to 1993, Simon attended West of England University, where they pursued A2 & 3 - IQA Quality Management, although they did not obtain a degree in that field.
