Benjamen Salata is an experienced professional in historic preservation and architecture, currently serving as the City Historic Preservation Planner for the City of West Palm Beach, FL since November 2023. Benjamen has worked as an Architectural Historian for iParametrics, LLC since November 2018, providing technical expertise to FEMA on historic properties. Previous roles include Customer Care Professional at Meritage Homes, Project Superintendent at Miami Systems, Appraiser at Barnebys Auction, and Project Manager at Luxam Inc. In addition, Benjamen has significant experience in curation, having been Curator for the Historical Society of Palm Beach County and the US Army, as well as Curator of Exhibits at the University of South Carolina. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Historic Preservation from Savannah College of Art and Design and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Florida Atlantic University.
