TITLE: Pricing Analyst

DEPARTMENT: Network Services

LOCATION: New Jersey, US

TYPE: Full time, Hybrid

OVERVIEW

This position will be responsible for processing day-to-day pricing requests and larger RFP bids from Sales primarily for USA while also lending overflow support for APAC and EMEA.  Pricing activities will include understanding and utilizing all existing pricing models for all products, requesting carrier costs directly from carriers when needed, populating models and distributing solution pricing.

  • Previous roles within the Telecom Industry, ideally 3-5 years / beneficial
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Confident Team Player
  • Strong customer pricing background
  • Experience of cross functional role interacting with all departments and all levels up to Director level
  • Finance / Business Analytical and Report formatting skills coupled with strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills. Sound Business / Commercial Acumen is a must
  • Ability to take on tasks and problem solve and work to completion with a pro-active approach
  • Multi- Lingual capabilities a bonus
  • BS/BA or from accredited 4 year university or equivalent / beneficial

Responsibilities 

  • Monitor global Pricing Tool queue to ensure new requests are picked up and priced within 48 hours
  • Review solution designs, clarify any questionable items and then begin pricing solution
  • Acquire carrier costs and aggressively negotiate costs as low as possible
  • Complete solution pricing and distribute according to acceptable pricing guidelines. Liaise with Pricing manager and Sales for any requested discounting
  • Manage and price detailed RFP’s working with various departments and external vendors to gather necessary information to respond within the RFP timelines.
