Charlie Buckwell

Charlie Buckwell has a wealth of experience in the healthcare and medical communications sector. Charlie is currently serving as the Chief Medical Communications Officer at IPG Health since July 2021. Prior to this, they held various leadership roles at McCann Health, including Global President McCann Health Medical Communications & Scientific Council from April 2018 to July 2021 and President, McCann Health EMEA from April 2016 to April 2018. Before joining McCann Health, Buckwell served as Chief Executive at both McCann Complete Medical & Double Helix and Complete Medical Group. Charlie also worked as the Commercial Director at Complete Medical Communications. Buckwell began their career at AstraZeneca, where they held roles as Global Brand Director and International Product Manager.

Charlie Buckwell completed a B.Sc (Hons) in Life Sciences at the University of Hull from 1983 to 1989. Later, from 1998 to 2000, they pursued an MBA degree at Lancaster University.
