Alexis Mattey

Alexis Mattey has extensive experience in the petroleum industry, holding positions that demonstrate expertise in production optimization and chemical solutions. Currently serving as Gte. Soluciones Químicas at both Excelencia en Energia and IPS since January 2021 and June 2019 respectively, Alexis has also held significant roles such as Gerente de Operaciones at Excelencia en Energía and Director of Field Operations at VERNUS GROUP CORP. Previous experience includes over a decade at PDVSA Petroleos de Venezuela S.A., with progressive responsibilities from Superintendente de Optimización de Producción to various supervisory roles across key fields. Earlier career achievements include serving as Applications Engineer at Nalco, an Ecolab Company, and completing an undergraduate thesis on heat transfer models during studies at Universidad de Oriente, where Alexis earned a degree in Petroleum Engineering.
