Michael Benning

Michael Benning holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota State University, completed between 1989 and 1993. Michael has significant experience in operational excellence, currently serving as the Vice President of Operational Excellence at IpX - Institute for Process Excellence since August 2019. Prior to this role, Michael directed the Program Management Office at IMMI from 2017 to 2019. Michael also spent over a decade at Shell, where responsibilities included Subsea Hardware Delivery Manager, Subsea Surveillance Team Manager, and Offshore Operations Team Lead for the Ormen Lange project.
