Desmond Lau

Desmond Lau is the current Product Development Manager at IQ-EQ. Desmond has also previously worked as a Product Manager at Kyckr and Board Intelligence.

Lau has experience in helping to manage, prepare, write and read board papers. Desmond is also skilled in researching new features and defining the MVP, requirements & metrics. Additionally, Lau has experience in running 3 amigo sessions for the new features and acting as a proxy for customers.

Lau’s experience in product development has helped him to excel in their current role at IQ-EQ. In their previous positions, they have demonstrated their ability to manage complex projects and deliver results that meet the needs of both customers and the company.

Desmond Lau has a Master of Science in finance and investment from Sheffield Hallam University, a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Financial management from Sheffield Hallam University, A levels in maths (C), accounting (C), economics (C) from blackburn college UK, GCSEs in High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates from Our Lady and St John, Certification from - in Training the Trainer, Certification from - in Scrum Master, Certification from Association of Corporate Treasurers in Certificate in Financial Maths and Modelling, Certification from The Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT) in Certificate in International Treasury Management (CertITM), and Certification from Common Purpose in Leadership programme.

They work with Andrew Edgington - Director, Client, Steven Graham - Head, Outsourced Regulatory & Compliance Services, Americas, and James Morellec - Director, Pensions. Their manager is Mark Pesco, Group CEO.
