Grant West

Grant West is a Senior Process Engineer at IQE since October 2018, having progressed from Shift Process Engineer and Process Engineer roles. Responsibilities include managing the daily operations of Aixtron MOCVD reactors and implementing statistical process control and lean manufacturing techniques to enhance production efficiency. Grant holds a Master of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, where studies were completed from 2013 to 2018. Additional experience includes a role as a Trainee Liaison Officer at CMC UK Holdings Ltd. and earlier positions at Superdry and McDonald’s.
