Cheng Zhu

Cheng Zhu has over a decade of work experience in the technology industry. Cheng currently serves as the Vice President at iQIYI.com, leading a team of 300 engineers. In this role, they are responsible for multiple areas including ads, search, recommendation, NLP, content traffic forecasting, and data service platform. Cheng played a key role in setting up the iQIYI ads team from scratch, transforming it into the largest advertising platform in the online video industry. Prior to their current position, Cheng worked at Google for four years as a Tech Lead. Cheng was a member of the video backend team, focusing on search quality, indexing, and crawling for YouTube and Google video search. Cheng also has an internship experience at Microsoft and Baidu, Inc.

Cheng Zhu received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Peking University in 2005. From 2003 to 2005, Zhu also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economic Research at the same university. In 2008, Zhu obtained a Master's degree in Computer Software & Theory from Peking University.
