Toni Pesonen

Toni Pesonen has a diverse work experience in the fields of IT, cyber security, and information systems. Toni is currently working as the Head of IT and Cyber Security at IQM Quantum Computers since 2021, where they are responsible for the overall security of company information and global IT function. Prior to this, Toni worked as a Team Leader in IT & Cyber Security at the same company.

Before joining IQM Quantum Computers, they worked at Liikenne- ja viestintävirasto Traficom / Transport-och kommunikationsverket Traficom from 2018 to 2021 as a Senior Specialist at the National Cyber Security Centre Finland (NCSC-FI). In this role, they led the ICT team and was responsible for the operations and development of internal and customer-facing information systems.

Toni also has experience working at Ericsson from 2008 to 2018, where they held various roles such as Experienced Services Engineer, Task Leader, and Services Engineer. Toni also worked as a Thesis Worker in the Multimedia Messaging Service department during their time at Ericsson.

Additionally, they have previous experience as a System Tester at Sampo Finance from 2007 to 2008, a Summer Trainee at Nokia Siemens Networks in 2007, and as a System Tester and Financial Assistant at Sampo Finance in 2006.

Overall, Toni Pesonen has extensive experience in IT, cyber security, and information systems, and has held various leadership positions throughout their career.

Toni Pesonen completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Telecommunications Management from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan from 2003 to 2009. Toni then pursued a Master's degree in Commercial Law from Hanken School of Economics, which they completed from 2012 to 2020.
