Pete Thompson

Pete Thompson is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in product engineering and software development within the healthcare and clinical sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Product Engineering for the IQVIA Clinical eSource Platform (ClinSpark) since March 2023, and as Head of Engineering at Foundry Health since July 2021, Pete has been instrumental in driving engineering teams and innovative solutions. Over a long tenure at IQVIA, starting as a Software Developer in 1995, Pete has progressed through diverse roles including Director of Information Technology and Chief Architect. Prior experience includes consultancy and development positions at LabSystems and Nano Computing Limited, as well as independent consulting work. Pete holds an MA in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.
