Iran Human Rights Documentation Center
Siavash Zaryoun is an experienced disability advocate and business consultant with a focus on human rights. Since November 2011, Zaryoun has worked with the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center, contributing as a contractual translator for interviews affiliated with the UN. Zaryoun served as a voting board member and volunteer at the Utah Independent Living Center from October 2019 to November 2021. A skilled freelance translator from November 2004 to 2020, Zaryoun also held the role of training director at Mojtame Fanni Tehran, overseeing the education and certification of both instructors and students. Prior to that, Zaryoun was a teacher and training expert at Tayarani Private School of English, achieving significant enrollment and revenue growth. Zaryoun holds an MBA from the University of Utah and is currently pursuing a PhD in Health Law from Concord Law School at Purdue University Global, building on a BA in Applied Linguistics from the University of Utah.

Iran Human Rights Documentation Center
IHRDC documents and reports on human rights abuses in Iran. The overall mission of the Center is to (1) establish a comprehensive and objective historical record of the human rights situation in Iran since the 1979 revolution, and on the basis of that record, establish responsibility for patterns of human rights abuses, (2) make the record available in an archive that is accessible to the public for research and educational purposes, (3) promote accountability, respect for human rights and the rule of law in Iran, and (4) encourage an informed dialogue on the human rights situation in Iran among scholars and the general public in Iran and abroad.
