Mark Campbell

Mark Campbell has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering, particularly in the media and broadcasting industry. Mark'smost recent position was as a Customer Integration and Support Engineer at Irdeto, which they began in July 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Compression and Encoding Engineer at DMC (Digital Media Centre) - AMC Networks International starting from July 2013. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining and supporting current systems and assisting in the introduction of new compression systems. Before that, from 2008 to 2013, they served as a Baseband/Automation Broadcast Engineer at Chellomedia Benelux. During this time, they focused on the redesign and implementation of screen subtitling systems and provided support for various automation systems. Between 2019 and 2020, Mark held the position of Senior Video Engineer at Divitel. Additionally, from 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Broadcast Engineer at DMC, a TVT Company. Finally, Mark's early career was spent at Screen Subtitling Systems Ltd., where they started as a Senior Support Engineer in 1995 and gained experience in testing and fault-finding PCBs as well as writing test programs.

Mark Campbell attended UCS Ipswich from 1991 to 1995, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science. Additionally, they received training in TV Technology 1 and TV Technology 2 at the BBC Academy's Wood Norton training facility.
