Marcela Acevedo

Marcela Acevedo is an experienced professional in quality systems and compliance, currently serving as Director of Quality System at iRhythm Technologies, Inc. since November 2018, where previous roles included Sr. Manager and QA Manager. Prior to iRhythm, Marcela held positions at Invuity, Inc. and Intuitive Surgical, specializing in quality systems and regulatory compliance. With over nine years at Advanced Sterilization Products, Marcela progressed from Biological Technician II to Group Leader, overseeing manufacturing operations and team management. Early career experience includes microbiological testing at Antech Diagnostics and research at The National Institutes of Health. Marcela holds a Master's degree in Public Health from Independence University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from San Diego State University.
