Sarah Friedrich

Sarah Friedrich began their work experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 2011 and worked in that role until 2018. In 2018, they also became a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Johns Hopkins University, holding that position until November of the same year. Sarah then joined Ontera in December 2018 as a Scientist, Nanopore Lead, and later transitioned to the role of Sensor Engineering Manager in June 2019. Sarah then took on the role of Sensor Integration Manager in October 2020, and their time with Ontera ended in June 2021. Most recently, Sarah has been working at Iridia, Inc., starting as a Senior Nanopore Physicist in June 2021. Sarah then became a Staff Systems Engineer in June 2022 and is currently a Senior Staff Systems Engineer as of January 2023.

Sarah Friedrich completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Delaware from 2007 to 2011. Sarah then pursued their education at The Johns Hopkins University, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biomedical Engineering from 2011 to 2018.
