Bill Yow

Bill Yow is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in embedded systems and software development, currently serving as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Iridium since June 2022. Previously, Bill held similar positions at Maritime Tactical Systems (MARTAC), Inc., contributing to the integration of MARTAC vessels with the Navy's autonomous vessel system and the design of the first NMEA 2K interface. Bill’s notable role at Boeing involved developing software for the CST-100 Commercial Crew Transport Program and leading the team responsible for the block 1 Iridium satellite software and related test tools. Bill's earlier career includes significant software engineering work with McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, Computer Sciences Corporation, Cimarron Software, and Singer, Link Flight Simulation Division, focusing on various aerospace and real-time systems projects. Bill earned a BS in Computer Engineering from Auburn University.
