Pete Fardelos

Pete Fardelos currently serves as the Executive Director of Government and Hosted Payload Services at Iridium, a position held since April 2022. Fardelos previously held the role of Executive Director for Integration Verification and Validation at IRIDIUM SATELLITE LLC from January 2017 to April 2022, leading systems integration and test efforts for various Iridium communication systems and satellites. Fardelos has extensive experience at Boeing, where roles included Deputy to the Satellite Ground & Operations Systems Organization Program Area Manager and Senior Manager for Iridium Systems Engineering and Integration. Earlier career positions were held at Spectrum Astro, Motorola, The Boeing Company, Lockheed Missiles and Space, and McDonnell Douglas, focusing on systems engineering, simulation, and trajectory analysis. Fardelos earned a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1985.
