Carmen Z.

Carmen Z. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Carmen started their career as a Silver Service Waitress and Retail Assistant at Sodexo from June 2012 to July 2015. Carmen then worked as a UK Fellowship Programme Intern at Cara (the Council for At-Risk Academics) from July 2015 to November 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Part-Time Care Worker at De Vere Care from April 2016 to September 2016.

In 2017, Carmen held multiple roles within different organizations. Carmen worked as a Researcher & Report Writer at Fundación Ayuda en Acción from January 2017 to April 2017, conducting an in-depth analysis on the development of children in Honduras. Carmen also worked as part of the Policy and Advocacy Team at Privacy International from April 2017 to December 2017. Additionally, Carmen held a Policy and Advocacy role at Tropical Health and Education Trust (THET) from April 2017 to September 2017.

From September 2017 to September 2018, Carmen worked as a Manager at Carlson Gracie Federation, where they performed administrative functions and employed social media strategies for promotion. Carmen also served as a Brand Manager at Faixa Preta Fightwear from October 2017 to September 2018.

In 2019, Carmen joined CyberOwl as a Quality Assurance Analyst, documenting software defects and participating in product design reviews. Carmen continued their work at CyberOwl until 2022, taking on the additional role of Operations Analyst.

Most recently, Carmen Z. started working at IRIS Audio Technologies in October 2022 as a Quality Assurance Engineer.

Carmen Z.'s education history begins in 2000 when they attended Elvel School for their high school education, which lasted until 2011. In 2012, Carmen enrolled in Royal Holloway, University of London, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Politics with Philosophy, graduating in 2015. Following this, Carmen pursued a Master's Degree in Transnational Security Studies at the same institution, completing their studies in 2016.

In 2019, Carmen joined Cybrary, where they studied Network Engineering, focusing on Network and System Administration/Administrator. During this time, they obtained additional certifications, specifically the Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA) and Network Fundamental for Security Practitioners, both from Cybrary, in September 2019.
