Víctor Cañizares Mata has a wealth of experience in software development. Víctor began their career in 2006 as a Development Analyst at everis, where they worked on developing new tools and providing support and evolution of existing tools for BBVA and Santander. Víctor then moved to Devoteam in 2008, where they were a Development Analyst designing and developing new web tools and providing support and evolution of existing tools for Telefonica Group. In 2010, they became a Lead Developer at Indra, where they led a Java development team and designed, developed, and tested key applications at the European level. In 2014 they joined wonnova as a Senior Developer, designing, developing, and testing gamification tools as a key part of an agile and remote team. Finally, in 2016, Víctor joined IriusRisk as a Software Architect, Innovation Technical Manager, and Lead Developer. In this role, they led the development team of IriusRisk, a single integrated console to easily create threat models and manage application security risk throughout the software development process used by largest companies all over the world. Víctor worked mostly from home, leading a cross-functional and international agile team, using the latest versions of programming languages and frameworks such as Java, Groovy, Grails, Spring, Vaadin, and Hibernate.

Víctor Cañizares Mata completed their Ingeniero Técnico en Informática de Sistemas degree from the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha between 2001 and 2006. In addition, they have obtained three professional certifications: Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 8 Programmer (obtained in June 2016 from Oracle), Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer (obtained in April 2016 from Oracle), and Zend Certified PHP Engineer (obtained in January 2015 from Zend Technologies).
