Davidzo Muchawaya

Davidzo Muchawaya is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in social responsibility, sustainability, and responsible business practices. Currently serving as the Regional Lead (Outreach) for Africa at the Initiative for Responsible Mining Assurance since August 2023, Davidzo focuses on promoting socially and environmentally responsible mining standards. Previously, Davidzo has been a Senior ESG & Sustainability Analyst / Project Manager at The Dragonfly Initiative since March 2018, specializing in social impact assessments and sustainability standards. Additionally, Davidzo played a key role as Senior Advisor and Partnership Program Director at VECTRA International and has held various positions at UL, including Fieldwork Supervisor and Senior Social Compliance Auditor. Davidzo holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Liverpool and a Master's degree in Social Sciences from the University of Pretoria.
