Jason Njoku

Jason Njoku's work experience begins in 2010 when they founded IROKO Partners Limited. Jason served as the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of the company, which focused on connecting viewers with content. During their tenure, the company grew to have offices in Lagos, Accra, London, and New York, employing approximately 90 people.

In 2013, Njoku co-founded ROK Nigeria, a prominent African film and television studio and production house based in Lagos. ROK Studios experienced significant success and was eventually acquired by French media giant Canal+ in July 2019, making it the largest media acquisition in West Africa's history. This acquisition was a result of ROK's collaboration with IROKO, a leading African digital content distributor for Nollywood content.

In 2017, Njoku took on the role of Executive Chairman at Blackbet, an African sports book operator. The company employed a team of 50 people and focused on providing a high-quality product to sports and gaming enthusiasts.

Additionally, in 2018, Njoku became the Executive Chairman of Betty Bingo, an online gaming community based in Nigeria. The company aimed to introduce and pioneer the game of Bingo across Africa.

Throughout their career, Njoku has demonstrated a passion for connecting viewers with engaging content and driving innovation in the digital entertainment industry.

Jason Njoku studied for a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry at The University of Manchester from 2002 to 2005.
