Alex Ford

Alex Ford is an experienced operations professional with a background in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as an Operations Specialist at Ironback Controls Ltd. since February 2024, Alex has previously held the position of Shift Lead at Sunshine Oilsands Ltd. from June 2016 to August 2022. Prior roles include working as a Plant Operator at ConocoPhillips and Devon Energy, where expertise in bitumen treating operations was developed. Alex holds a degree in Chemical Engineering Technologies from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), achieving 2nd Class Power Engineer certification.
