Rita Martins

Rita Martins has had a diverse range of work experiences in design and illustration. Rita worked as a UX/UI Design Lead Teacher at Ironhack since 2021. Prior to that, they held roles as a Designer and Illustrator where they worked on personal and commissioned design projects, and as a UX/UI Designer at ELENICE SBC where they conducted user research, created prototypes, and designed logos and brand books. Rita also worked as a UX/UI Design Teacher Assistant at Ironhack Lisbon and as a Graphic Designer at Alêtheia Editores SA, where they were involved in book design and illustration. Rita has also worked as a Workshop Instructor at ETIC and co-founded Opiarte - Núcleo de Ilustração e BD da FBAUL.

Rita Martins completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Drawing from the Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa from 2012 to 2016. Rita also attended Fundação Salesianos from 2004 to 2012, where they earned their High School diploma in Visual Arts. In 2020, they completed a course in UX/UI Design at Ironhack. Rita has additional certifications, including "UI Design Handoff to Development Course for UX/UI Designers" from Udemy and "UX/UI Design Bootcamp Lisbon April 2020" from Ironhack.
