Azfar Makani has worked in several roles across a variety of industries. In 2021, they became the Team Lead Americas, Customer Success and Customer Success Manager at IRONSCALES. Prior to this, they were the Support Account Manager and Enterprise Professional Services at VMware Workspace ONE from 2015 to 2021. In 2016, they were the Director of Special Interest Group at Local Professional Network. From 2014 to 2015, they were an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and Undergraduate Research Assistant at Purdue University. In 2014, they were an Industrial Engineering Intern at SKODA India where they performed time study, developed a precedence diagram, and led to improved functionality of the assembly line. In 2013, they were an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Purdue University where they worked as a peer teacher, assisted faculty in grading and proctoring, and conducted office hours for students. In 2012, they were a Service Intern at BMW India where they supervised and worked with technicians, developed an Optimal Space Utilization plan, and delivered recommendations for improvements and streamlining of after-sales service.
Azfar Makani obtained their High School degree from Vishwashanti Gurukul International School in 2011. Azfar then went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, which they completed in 2015. In 2017, they obtained a Core: Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School Online. In August 2019, they earned a VMware Certified Associate - Digital Business Transformation certification from VMware.
