Patricia Resa-Infante is an accomplished academic and researcher with significant experience in virology and molecular biology. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central de Catalunya since January 2022, as well as an eLIFE Ambassador for eLife Sciences Publications Ltd since April 2019, Patricia's research focuses on developing therapeutic strategies against viral immunopathogenesis. Previous roles include Associate Researcher and Postdoctoral Researcher at IrsiCaixa AIDS Research Institute and a Postdoctoral Fellow at EMBL - Grenoble, where Patricia investigated the mechanisms of influenza virus. With a rich background that includes teaching and supervision of graduate students, expertise in biochemistry, and numerous research positions across prestigious institutions, Patricia holds a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
