Nori Tsurumaki

Nori Tsurumaki has a strong background in corporate finance, internal audit, and SOX compliance. They started their career in 2006 as an Experienced Audit Senior/Relationship Manager at PwC, where they managed financial and SOX audits for manufacturing clients. In 2009, they joined ITOCHU Europe PLC as the General Manager of Internal Control, overseeing compliance with SOX and global policies across European entities. From 2011 to 2013, Nori worked as an Audit Manager at EY, managing audits for international clients, including sports leagues and European companies under IFRS. They then joined Corporate Finance Group, Inc. as a Manager, providing consulting services to pre-IPO SaaS companies. In 2018, Nori served as the Interim CAO/Sr. Director of Internal Audit at Sky Solar Holdings, Ltd, focusing on global SOX compliance. They continued their work with EY as an Audit Contractor for SEC and pre-IPO clients from 2019 to 2021. During this time, Nori also worked with Cognizant as the Director of Environmental Social Governance (ESG) Disclosure and later joined PwC as an Internal Audit/SOX Compliance Advisory Contractor. Most recently, since 2021, Nori has been the Owner/Employee of NT International LLC, providing advisory services in areas such as internal audit, SOX compliance, technical accounting, and controllership for global-scale clients. In 2022, they also started working as a SOX Compliance Advisor to the CFO and Controller at an entertainment PE-backed company through Irvine Technology Corporation.

Nori Tsurumaki has a strong educational background in the field of accounting and English language and literature. From 1984 to 1988, Nori attended The University of Tokyo and obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters. Later, Nori pursued further education at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, from 2001 to 2002, and earned a Master of Accountancy degree with a focus on Accounting. Additionally, Nori has a certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from New York State, although the specific date of obtaining this certification is not provided.
